Desde iguanas, tortugas, pavorreales, tucanes, cotorros,peces koi... la vista y la danza del venado... Los helados que venden est\u00e1n ricos aunque estar\u00eda padre que hubiera de m\u00e1s sabores... away from tourist crowds.<\/strong>\nI found this place on Tripadvisor before our cruise and it looked like a nice place to visit on our cruise stop in Mazatlan. First, as of the time of writing this, the Observatorio has a booth at the cruise port. You go to their booth and they get you a shuttle to the location (only a few minutes away), entrance to all of their exhibits, a beer or Margarita at their bar, and a ride back to the port - all for about $30USD per person. The kids (6 &amp; 9) loved seeing all the birds, reptiles and deer. Had a great visit and spent 2-3 hours there. They have a very informative tour about the history of Mazatlan. They also have an interesting tour regarding the making of Mescal and Tequila. There are bird and iguana sanctuaries, and a fantastic view of the entire area from the Sky Bar with a great menu too. Clean, well maintained exceptionally helpful staff who assisted us with using the elevator instead of the stairs to get to the second floor as we both have mobility issues.The video about the history of Mazatlan was fascinating.I can read and understand some Spanish but I appreciated the English subtitles. The view from the funicular railway was exquisite as were the grounds on the third level. Interesting birds and iguanas the Observatio itself fascinating. How did the curators manage to retrieve all the pictures furniture the rifles from the Mexican revolution \nThat would be a story in itself. Unfortunately we didn\u2019t have a lot of time because I could have stayed all day.
